Do you have picky eaters in your house? Check out some of these fabulous tips to help keep mealtime a breeze.
1. Try introducing new foods with another food that they enjoy, and only introduce one new food at a time.
2. Most kids have an good sense of hunger, and will stop eating when they are full. Try to avoid making them clean their plate.
3. Take advantage of other activities to expose your child to healthy foods outside of mealtime such as letting them pick out the fruits and vegetables at the grocery store.
4. Let the child be involved in preparing the food. This helps to provide a sense of accomplishment.
5. Avoid letting your child snack all day.
6. Make the foods interesting with the way you arrange them on the plate, or even by offering a low fat dip with their vegetables. This makes it more fun!
7. Finally, be a healthy eating role model! They are watching what we eat too!
